Presentation/History

At the beginning of the soccer season a 20-year-old college student participated in strenuous filed practice extending through the whole afternoon. Later in the evening he experienced severe pain over the anterolateral aspect of his right leg, radiating down toward the angle. The next afternoon he went back to the field and continued to play, but the pain in his right leg became so severe that he had to limp off the field. The pain persisted throughout the night and the next morning he consulted a physician.

Examination

On examination there is reddening and swelling over the anterolateral aspect of his right leg. On palpation this area is extremely tender, it feels hard and warmer than other parts of the leg. The hardening extends from two inches below the tibial tuberosity to the junction of the middle and lower thirds of the leg and seems to correspond to the belly of the tibialis anterior muscle. Dorsiflexion of foot and toes is severely limited. The pulses in the anterior tibial and dorsalis pedis arteries are present. His body temperature is slightly elevated.

Lassic Upholstery Shop

Lassic Upholstery Shop in $42 only

Tyler Smith has worked in an upholstery shop for 10 years. Last year, Tyler’s wages were $20,000. Lately, Tyler has been unhappy with the shop’s owner. Convinced that he could run an upholstery shop that did better work at a lower cost, Tyler decided to go into business for himself and opened CLASSIC UPHOLSTERY SHOP.

To get the business going, Tyler decided to invest heavily in advertising. He spent $6,000 on advertising aimed at consumers and another $2,000 on advertising aimed at getting work from interior decorators and interior design stores. Tyler also purchased industrial sewing machines costing $4,000 and other tools and equipment costing $3,000. He estimated that the sewing machines can be used for about 5 years, before maintenance costs will be too high and the machines will need to be replaced. The other tools and equipment are not as durable and will have to be replaced in 3 years.

Project 2 is your final assignment in 201! Just like with Project 1, we won’t be telling you exactly what to do. Instead, you will get the chance to make your own decisions about how you want your program to handle things, what its functions should be called, and how you want to go about designing it. Project 2 will also be substantially longer than any of the single homework assignments you’ve completed so far, so make sure to take the time to plan ahead, and don’t do any “cowboy” coding! Remember to enable Python 3 before you run your programs:
/usr/bin/scl enable python33 bash
Instructions:
For this assignment, you’ll need to follow the class coding standards, a set of rules designed to make your code clear and readable. The class coding standards are on Blackboard under “Course Documents” in a file titled “CMSC 201 – Python Coding Standards.” You will lose major points if you do not following the 201 coding standards. A very important piece of following the coding standards is writing a complete file header comment block. Make sure that your file has a comment block at the top (see the coding standards document for an example).
